Fort Worth, TX — Operation Game Thief is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the conviction of the person or persons responsible for shooting at least three alligators at the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge on Lake Worth.
According to information shared through Operation Game Thief, the incidents occurred between May and July 2026.
Authorities said one of the alligators survived, while two others were killed. Their carcasses were abandoned and left to waste.
At least one of the alligators was reportedly shot with a crossbow bolt.
Anyone with information is being asked to submit a tip to Operation Game Thief.
