Harris County, TX — A driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated after Harris County Constable Precinct 5 deputies observed a vehicle allegedly failing to maintain a single lane and changing lanes without signaling.

According to Constable Terry Allbritton’s Office, Toll Road deputies conducted the traffic stop on North Sam Houston Parkway West near TC Jester Boulevard.

Deputies said the driving behavior created a hazard for other motorists. During the stop, they observed multiple signs of impairment and detained the driver for further investigation.

Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered, and after consultation with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, the driver was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
