Harris County, TX — They say first impressions matter. Unfortunately for this couple, so do outstanding warrants.
According to Harris County Constable Precinct 4, Deputy Enqvist conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of North Sam Houston Parkway East after observing a speeding vehicle.
What began as a routine traffic stop quickly became much more eventful.
Deputies discovered the driver had an outstanding child support capias along with several additional warrants. Authorities also found that the passenger had an outstanding warrant of their own.
So instead of arguing over who was paying for dinner… both ended up taking the same ride to jail.
Both individuals were taken into custody without incident.
Safe to say, there probably won’t be a second date.
