Harris County, TX — Driving with a flat tire is one thing. Driving with no tire at all while spinning into traffic? That’s usually a sign something has gone seriously wrong.

According to Harris County Constable Precinct 4, Deputy Johnson spotted a vehicle in the 2700 block of the Northwest Freeway that had spun into traffic while missing one of its tires.

Deputy Johnson safely removed the driver from the roadway and began an investigation.

Authorities said the investigation led to the driver’s arrest on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).

Fortunately, the incident was brought under control before anyone else was hurt.

Turns out, if your car is missing a tire and still going down the freeway… it’s probably time to stop driving long before a deputy has to tell you.
