Harris County, TX — A 54-year-old Alvin man has been arrested after a year-long undercover investigation into the online solicitation of a minor, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 1.
Investigators with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit allege Pedro Solis engaged in sexually explicit online conversations with someone he believed was a 15-year-old girl. Authorities said the “teen” was actually an undercover detective posing as a minor.
According to the investigation, which began in August 2025, Solis allegedly told the undercover detective he was sitting naked in his driveway waiting for an Amazon delivery driver and later sent a photo of himself from the waist down. Investigators said he continued making similar comments over the following months, including claiming he intended to expose himself to Amazon drivers.
Authorities said Solis also allegedly made plans to meet the person he believed was a high school student still on summer vacation before he was arrested Thursday near Pearland.
Solis has been charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor, a third-degree felony punishable by two to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000 if convicted.
The Pearland Police Department assisted Harris County Constable Precinct 1 with the arrest.
Anyone with information about this case or suspected online child exploitation is urged to contact the Harris County Constable Precinct 1 Internet Crimes Against Children Unit at 713-222-4929.
