Austin police officers rescued a family of ducklings stranded on the lower deck of Interstate 35, according to the Austin Police Association.
The Austin Police Department responded to a call about the ducklings and safely gathered the group before transporting them to a local wildlife rescue.
The Austin Police Association said 12 ducklings were involved in the roadside rescue. Photos shared with the post showed the ducklings with two adult ducks and officers holding some of the rescued birds.
