A woman died Sunday morning after crashing into a power pole in west Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said the crash happened shortly before 7 a.m. along Westpark near Wilcrest in the Westchase area. The woman was driving at a high rate of speed when she struck the pole, police said.
Police had not released the woman’s identity or information about other factors that may have contributed to the crash.
