Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office identified a woman accused of theft during a follow-up investigation July 30 in the 27000 block of the Northwest Freeway.
Deputies said the suspect initially provided a false name and date of birth. After further investigation, she was identified as Michelin Trofort.
Trofort was cited for theft and arrested on a charge of failure to identify. She was booked into the Harris County Jail, where her bond was set at $200 through County Court 6.
“Providing false information to law enforcement will not prevent accountability. Our deputies are committed to thoroughly investigating crimes and ensuring those responsible are brought to justice,” Constable Mark Herman said.
