The Dove Creek Volunteer Fire Department and several agencies responded to an ATV crash involving injuries at approximately 6 p.m., the department said.
Responding agencies included SAFD Medic 7, Rescue 1, EMS 1, the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office, AirMed 1 and Texas Game Wardens.
Emergency crews safely extricated the patient from the ATV, provided treatment at the scene and transported the patient to a hospital for further medical care, according to the fire department.
The Dove Creek Volunteer Fire Department thanked the responding agencies for their coordination and professionalism. The department also asked the community to keep the injured patient and the patient’s family in their thoughts and prayers.
