An AMBER Alert has been issued for two sisters reported missing from San Antonio.
Fidely Alvarez Mauricio, 10, and Neidy Alvarez Mauricio, 13, were reported missing Aug. 1, 2026. Authorities said the girls were abducted from San Antonio.
Fidely is described as a Black girl with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs about 115 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black-and-white striped gown and sandals.
Neidy is described as a Black girl who was last seen wearing pink pajama pants, a black shirt and sandals.
Authorities identified Pedro Alvarez-Castillo, 48, as the suspect. Anyone who sees the girls or has information about their whereabouts should call 911 or the San Antonio Police Department at 210-207-7660. Information may also be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 800-843-5678.
